I’ve been in love with this brand identity for a butcher shop since I first saw it. It’s spread across the internet for its on point design, and I just have to add to the list of places it’s been featured. It’s thought out from soup to nuts. All the pieces fit together visually without looking monotonous. Unfortunately, it’s not a REAL location. It started as a real project but fell through. The guys at Ptarmak just finished it anyway because it was too good to drop. I KNOW THE FEELING!

This full identity for Hawkers Asian Street Fare is on the money. It’s extensive and builds a vibe through consistent design that’s truly engaging. The bright orange and deep muted purples pop and make the black and white photography jump as well. The patterns add character. Overall, the work stay away from cliche and expected without losing the ties to the Asian feel. Great job by Soapbox.

I love this brand identity for Foam, a coffee house, beer joint and café. The logo and logo type are “foamy” and fluffy which drives the name home. The rustic treatments also help drive the vibe home for the brand. Designed by Almanac, who have a pretty rad website themselves.

Ivan Maximov designed this brand and packaging for his local pub down the street. The design is great as far as graphics go, but what’s truly unique is the beer takeout caring case. It’s unique, functional and truly stands out. It’s not necessarily cost effective unless you’re a larger chain, but it’s pretty darn awesome. Here’s his description of the project:

Mug is a big chain of football pubs based in Moscow. This pub brews its own beer. This is a new concept for take away beer. Beer is filling in paper cups then special sticker putted on the top for each sort of beer. The new cup combines the form of the traditional beer pint and usability of recyclable paper cups.

The United step up their game with this restaurant brand identity design for one of Chef Scott Conant’s renowned brands: Scarpetta. The two color treatment creates a strong image that can easily be interpreted with other restaurants as seen with Scarpetta’s other locations throughout the US. The splash is reminiscent of braising and the artful nature of the cuisine.

I found this lovely specimen on DesignWorkLife blog. Great branding campaign for the restaurant Arrogant Butcher. The strong deep and vibrant reds really pop on the monochromatic grays. The print work is coupled with some great apparel and signage to create this great brand experience.

The restaurant branding for EAT was done by the people over at Ptarmak. I love the way the key graphical elements play in the negative space created by the type. The color palate is clean and fresh which gives off the vibe that the restaurant is also fresh, organic and clean. At least I think it’s a restaurant.

I found this little gem on The Dieline. This identity was pulled together by The Scandinavian Design Group

Food Garage was to be Bølgen & Moi’s ultimate food destination offering a deli, take-out service, catering business, bar, restaurant and café. SDG developed a system of creative expression that rocked conventional wisdom on concept, colour, interior design and language – on everything from business cards, teabags and doggy bags to t-shirts and the brand’s website.

What’s awesome about this branding campaign is that it breaks convention. It’s not something you’d typically see. It’s invigorating and bright. I love the colors and the use of food as typography. The brand identity delivers a message that can be easily reinforced at the location. I’d totally eat here!

I found list lovely project by Matt Lewis of the UK. It’s the identity design of Baa Bar which features awesome illustrations done by the artist and designer. The illustrations are ultra-modern and simple. They bring a punch to the interior design that’s unexpected, but fun and interesting. They appear throughout the interior and even the exterior of the bar experience.
