In the bread business, freshness matters. Honolulu’s Breadshop, a specialty bread maker, wanted part of their branding efforts to portray their fresh standards. In addition to a slick and gleaming brand presentation, Scott Naauao delivered their design and gave them an excellent slogan to capture the freshness: “Established Daily”. Naauao’s design manages to deliver the essence of one of the oldest trades in history and Breadshop emerges with an honest and primitive-based design that provides a link to the quality of their bread and timeless traditions of making bread. Using marbleized backgrounds, Breadshop’s branding has an artisan feel and the packaging they arrived at, white paper and tape with a stamp, is basic and clean and continues the narrative of timelessness.
